Quad Neutron Through Pipe Technology
The Quad Neutron is a robust, slim, nuclear based downhole measurement device designed for through pipe applications.
The tool can also be run in memory or real time giving it flexibility on conveyance methods.
The unique features of the Quad Neutron provide unique benefits. The dual physics enable the Quad Neutron to have a deeper depth of investigation as compared to other through pipe formation evaluation devices, the ability to interpret the measurement without other data inputs and to have information related to density and Clay and Dolomite volumes.
Unlike deuterium tritium style pulsed neutron sources, the source does not activate iron pipe enabling the Quad Neutron to be conveyed inside pipe and to repeat measurements as often as desired. The benefits of not activating iron pipe and having a deep depth of investigation, enables the Quad Neutron measurement to be made through multiple strings of pipe.
